We at Schuster Maschinenbau have received an award - and are now among the TOP 100 most innovative companies in the German SME sector. Our innovation qualities - in the areas of innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation as well as innovation success - have convinced the expert jury of the competition. Why? Because we live innovation every day.
"For us, innovative spirit is nothing artificially imposed, but part of our natural Schuster DNA. That is why - true to our claim Move the Standard - we strive every day to raise the status quo of metal processing to a new level. We are pleased that the TOP 100 award reflects this commitment," explains Jürgen Dommer, Schuster Managing Director.
"We always work very hard to advance our customers by looking beyond the mere machining process of the machine tools to offer the individual optimal future solution for the customers," continues Christian Steidle, also Managing Director.
This is precisely the spirit that TOP 100 is all about. To this end, the team led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, scientific director of the competition, examines the status of the innovation goal within the company: "Do routines and habits dominate, or is the company capable of questioning the existing, thinking creatively and in new ways, and successfully implementing them on the market? We analyze this ability using more than 100 test criteria."
"Innovators drive change instead of waiting for it," is how Ranga Yogeshwar, science journalist and mentor of the TOP 100 innovation competition, sums it up. We look forward to meeting him and the other top innovators at the awards ceremony at the German SME Summit on June 23, 2023.
The TOP 100 innovation competition is being held for the 30th time this year. A total of more than 550 SMEs applied in 2022.
