We are fast and precise – thanks to shortest chip-to-chip times. We also have the necessary power – thanks to the "Direct Drive" turret technology with 18 kW and 57 Nm. This enables higher cutting data and at the same time a reduction of cycle times.
Direct Drive offers an improved metal removal rate when machining with driven tools. With Schuster's patented chip and splash-proof loading and unloading station and the matching indexing belt, we transport your raw part / finished part precisely and quickly.

The ergonomic concept and the resulting excellent accessibility of the work area and tool turret allow a fast and uncomplicated set-up process of the vertical lathe. This means that the machine is ready for production again as quickly as possible, especially with regard to planned or unforeseen maintenance.
Equipped with optionally available various processing power units, different spindle variants, and loading concepts, the P-Series can be used in numerous single-/dual-spindle soft machining up to complex hard machining including grinding operations.

The P30 Vertical Lathe comes as standard with a drive spindle, a VDI40 turret, and a timed belt. It is suitable for use with components with a diameter of 250 mm (optionally available: 300 mm). Due to various loading and unloading possibilities, robot chaining, Y-axis, or drilling/deburring stations, the P30 can be individually adapted to suit the customer’s preferences.
Additional special features are the patented chip- and splash-proof loading and unloading station in the work area as well as the achievable high-precision accuracies in hard turning.

Equipped with an internal and external grinding spindle as well as a VDI 40 turret, the P30 DSS is used in hard machining applications of geared wheels up to 200 mm.
Due to the drive spindle, which can be moved across the entire X-path, the tyre-shaped, geared workpieces can be entirely processed in a single clamping operation. The extremely compact construction guarantees the fastest cycle times combined with a highly dynamic, precise process.
Version with either an internal or an external grinding spindle for components with a diameter of up to 380 mm.
Nearly as compact as a single-spindle machine, the PD30, as a double-spindle machine, is used in both the standard two-sided machining as well as in the production of high volumes for disk-shaped components with a diameter of up to 250 mm.
Due to its flexible, compact construction, the most diverse loading concept can be realised in the most confined areas. The workpiece turning unit integrated into the workroom (where it is protected) guarantees a position-accurate component transfer as well as a linear and effective component handling.

Even the basic version of the Schuster nxt has unique quality features. This applies to the machine stand made of 100% mineralite cast, the guide systems (45 mm guideway in X and Z) and the high-precision spindle with extra large spindle bearings (120 mm) and an A6 spindle nose.

Cross bores, slot milling, key flats on the circumference or on the face are all machining operations that can be carried out professionally, economically and quickly using our driven tool turret. Thanks to the strong torque of 63 Nm and a power of up to 10 kW at 4,000 rpm, the tool turret offers good arguments for implementing complete machining.

Drill holes up to a diameter of 65 mm (depending on the workpiece material) can be machined without any problems with our drilling package "high performance drilling". The removal of the increased chip quantity is ensured through a generously dimensioned cooling lubricant pump with 60 l/min. Further requirements such as force influence or quick set-up tools are met by the drilling console milled from the solid with a standardised VDI tool interface and a mounting directly on the machine stand.
