Study or earn money? Why either or?
Two study models. More practice.
To enable students to gain more practical experience during their studies, Kempten University of Applied Sciences offers two practice-oriented study models: The degree programwith in-depth practical training and the dual-system degree program.
The degree programwith in-depth practical training enables students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience. Students are alternately at the university and in a company. In the company, they get to know different areas of work and gain their first professional experience. In addition, particularly motivated students can also tinker with their own research projects. The degree: Bachelor of Science.
Entry into the program with in-depth practical training is possible up to the 4th semester. The program begins in the winter or summer semester of each year and has six theoretical and one practical study semester in the standard period of study. Practical phases in the company include a practical study semester as well as further practical sequences during the lecture-free period and a four-week practical before the start of studies.
Students acquire a dual qualification via a dual-system degree program: a Bachelor of Engineering and a fully recognized professional qualification.
The program begins in the winter semester of each year and has six theoretical and one practical study semester in the standard period of study. The training phases begin before the studies and last up to 14 months. In addition, there is a practical study semester and further practical phases during the lecture-free period. Participants complete their bachelor's thesis in consultation with the company of their choice and under the academic supervision of the university. The same applies to practical projects and other practical work.
One degree? Or three?
