The delicious smell of popcorn lures visitors to this year's International Exhibition for Metal Working to the extraordinary exhibition stand of Schuster, which resembles a movie set. Under the motto “From Idea to Blockbuster”, we will be rolling out the blue carpet at the industry get-together, which takes place from September 10 to 14 in Stuttgart, and will be presenting the latest masterpieces of metalworking as the director of innovations. The spotlight will be on the real stars, the Schuster vertical turning machines from the NXT, F and V series.
Shooting schedule highlight: the digital twin of our NXT
Special attention deserves the presentation of the Schuster NXT, which opens up the world of automated vertical turning for individual series production and is optionally supplied with its digital twin. This can be experienced live and in action at the AMB in Stuttgart and connects AMB visitors directly with the production department at the Schuster plant in Denklingen. In true movie theater style, with popcorn and slush puppie in hand, the public will experience the advantages of this innovation up close. The virtual counterpart to the real machine is not only a technology trend and digitalization driver, but above all offers the ideal tool for continuously optimizing products and production processes.
Innovation in the spotlight
With the cinematic exhibiton appearance at the AMB, Schuster wants to prove that mechanical engineering can not only be dry and technical, but also inspiring and “entertaining”. The stimulating, sociable atmosphere on the shooting set is also intended to encourage visitors to relax and exchange ideas about the latest technologies in vertical turning.
